The
people that should really be in jails and prisons but
just haven't been 'caught' (or prosecuted) yet because
the prosecutors and judges are also part of their
racket.Cedric Wardhttp://goldtradercommentsaugust2010.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-25739950370312267972015-08-19T07:16:33.323-06:002015-08-19T07:16:33.323-06:00The fact that these thugs seem to honestly not be ...The fact that these thugs seem to honestly not be able to tell the difference in what they do and highway robbery is just mind-boggling to me. If they were first obtaining a conviction and then seizing property, they would at least have a (semi) moral leg to stand on. As it is, you have no drugs on you, they don't find anything indicating any kind of crime, and they steal your life savings that you had on you because you were on your way to buy . Point out to them what they're doing. They will either get angry that you've disturbed their world view, angry because you compared them to sinners, or confused that you could possibly think what they are doing is wrong.

There's something seriously wrong with this system. Americans are finally starting to wake up and appropriately adjust their view of police, and you have cops saying things like:

"The nobility and integrity of policing has been challenged," Roper said. "As a profession, we have allowed popular culture to draft a narrative which is contrary to the amazing work that so many officers are doing everyday across this nation."

To which I respond:

As a profession, you have beaten, maimed, and killed enough people that the populace is finally starting to appropriately adjust its opinion of you. You want respect for law enforcement? Start enforcing the law (which includes respecting my civil rights), and stop breaking the law. You want respect? Start showing some fucking respect.
As it stands, if I have a run-in with a cop, he's going to cuss up a storm, and berate me all he wants. He can raise his voice however and whenever he wants on any subject he wants. If I cuss, raise my voice, or show anything but completely meek subservience, I'm liable to be beaten, maimed or killed. No, I have absolutely NO RESPECT for your profession, Mr. Roper. None whatsoever, and your "brothers in blue" have earned my disdain. All Wronghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01313858228631416622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-7973432988167897662015-08-19T06:50:14.176-06:002015-08-19T06:50:14.176-06:00Surprised? Work, pick the kids up from school, a target is on anyones and everyones back out in public. Some parents drive their kids both ways to school because school buses do not have seatbelt. Which means seatbelt laws are about being able to extract money from citizens and violate their right in a scam to stop and steal. Clearly if seat belts saved lives, what about the CHILDREN? As government grows the larger the target becomes too. No one can drive and not be pulled over for a legal reason giving for such stopping. Stopping citizens is subjective to the cops point of view on what the cop/s saw or thinks they saw.
