Hats off to you Mr. Grimm.

Zeroing in on the key passage in section 6 of the UNPA, "The President shall not be deemed to require the authorization of congress..." in its war making agreements under article 42 of the UN Charter; congress could regain some of the constitutional power it sold the executive in 1945 by amending the act to expunge one very mischievous little word, to wit, "not". That would return the war making power in this instance to 536 gasbags versus one. It is doubtful that any of these billy-whackers could whoop for war as well as the windbag-in-chief, but it might be amusing to see if other views exist in Windbagdad by the Potomac and if vox pop can influence any of them.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02452421156690411206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-89146978792060895962011-03-23T17:38:26.190-06:002011-03-23T17:38:26.190-06:00Walter Cronkite, Hillary and John Anderson youtube...Walter Cronkite, Hillary and John Anderson youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaS6bLQixkMBob Roddisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-87137238127428763472011-03-22T17:08:21.222-06:002011-03-22T17:08:21.222-06:00Thank you, Sir.Thank you, Sir.Shy Wolfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12708293970831678927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-42137250196849009962011-03-22T14:15:38.038-06:002011-03-22T14:15:38.038-06:00Shy Wolf, the United Nations Organization was crea...Shy Wolf, the United Nations Organization was created in 1945; the name itself was commonly used as a title for the Allied side in World War II. Read the last couple of volumes in Churchill's extensive (and grossly self-serving) history of World War II, and you'll see plenty of references to the Allies as "the United Nations." It has happened to every empire in history without exception, and there is no logic in assuming that America will be the first to survive intact.

There are those whose aim for 2,000 years has been to crush and destroy worship of the Creator and His precepts of morality and compassion, and replace those with a materialistic worship of Man and the world, and a renunciation of decency. The new Gods, invented even before Christ's body was taken down from the Cross, are greed, power, selfishness and total hedonism. These are the enticements of the Powers of Evil. Look around you. It has been happening in America since the Satanic forces of world conquest triumphed on December 22, 1913. Whenever decency and humanity tries to raise its head, it is mocked, trivialized, and/or crushed, by violence if necessary. Just ask Martin Luther King, Jr.

The voice having been silenced, it is replaced with bronze statues on marble plinths, public holidays, and the naming of parks.

The Bible tells us God will not be mocked. Sooner or later those who set themselves up as the secret rulers of humanity and enemies of God will be swept away. May the awakening come soon.

- Lemuel Gulliver.

PS: Those who expect a second coming of Christ, ask yourselves why you are still waiting? Perhaps it is because He does not wish to be crucified a second time? Those who beleieve in UFOs and aliens, ask yourselves why they are so secretive? Perhaps they are afraid of what our species would do to the rest of the galaxy if we had their technology? Kind of like keeping laboratory piranha safely in a glass tank?Lemuel Gullivernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-65555488591626625352011-03-21T07:46:24.730-06:002011-03-21T07:46:24.730-06:00Bob, about the British thing you mentioned. I'...Bob, about the British thing you mentioned. I've come to the conclusion, regardless of the empty poetical words in the Declaration and other pieces of parchment, that what our latter day elites wanted was to control their own home grown American mercantilist version of the British system. In other words they wanted the whole pie and not just be a slice off of someone elses. And that is exactly what we got. The hypocrisy in American history runs so deep that even the Valles Marineris canyon of Mars pales in comparison. That our overlords from the beginning would forbid their subjects to engage in the very acts that they themselves had just finished doing to their brethren should be all the proof anyone needs to know.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-53204368957268875212011-03-21T07:31:45.642-06:002011-03-21T07:31:45.642-06:00I've believed for more years than I can count ...I've believed for more years than I can count that one day the blue helmets would be "invited" into the US to "help" put down domestic uprisings due to an all but engineered collapse in order to bring about some mythical stability. Whatever freedoms you fantasize you presently have would be permanently put on the back burner while our saviors patrolled the streets. Every outburst by angry domestic "insurgents" would be labeled a threat to the peace and brutally put down. Maybe people would be even packed up and carted off to God knows where for their "safety". Sounds like so much moon-battery but with all the machinations going on it makes evil sense. I'm certain that the ordinary folks in the USSR, China, Germany, Cambodia etc.. would have loved to have known years in advance of their doom in order to escape or stop it all together.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-71982013059765686632011-03-20T22:54:36.601-06:002011-03-20T22:54:36.601-06:00Frankly, I would like to see this country broken u...Frankly, I would like to see this country broken up into several, dozens, or hundreds of, smaller independent countries.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16565620274260288512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-52662362355190760772011-03-19T20:54:23.602-06:002011-03-19T20:54:23.602-06:00Bob,

But the modern Englishman, such few as are left in that melting-pot country, is much less prepared to accept government intrusion into his life than the modern American. We talk a lot. They riot.

The Americans who revolted against George III from 1774-1783 were almost 100% Englishmen.

Since then, America has been co-opted by people who believe in communism and authoritarianism....

http://www.jrbooksonline.com/Intl_Jew_full_version/ij15.htm

....and she apparently no longer has an innate craving for freedom, at least not among a sizable majority of the population. I quoted Machiavelli in the last essay on this blog:

"It is as difficult to make a people free that is resolved to live in servitude, as it is to subject a people to servitude that is determined to be free."

So it is not up to the government we live under, it is up to US. Whether or not we would be a different people under British rule than what we are now, is debatable. What's YOUR gut feeling on that question?

- Lemuel Gulliver.

PS: Unfair... Let me give you my position. I don't think America would be any different under ANY other rule than it is now - British, German, Irish, or Lithuanian. We are who we are. H.L. It is a 2011 report from the Congressional Research Service entitled "Instances of Use of United States Armed Forces Abroad, 1798 - 2010" and it runs to 34 pages. There is almost not one single year which does not have an entry. Some years have several.

http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/natsec/R41677.pdf

Even as comprehensive as it is, I have detected at least one omission: The Allied intervention in the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in 1917, when 200,000 Allied soliders, including 13,000 Americans, invaded Russia in hopes of defeating the Bolsheviks. That story is here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allied_intervention_in_the_Russian_Civil_War

Let nobody imagine that the American Empire has been anything but a warmonger and a territorial expansionist since its inception. Moreover, for the past 100 years our proxies, like the Saudis securing our oil in Bahrain for us, and the foul Suleiman in Egypt torturing our prisoners for us, have done our bidding and our dirty work, in exchange for money and for our keeping them in power.

- Lemuel Gulliver.

PS: Of course, one could certainy say the same of the British Empire, the French Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the Spanish, Portuguese, etc. etc. Empires.
